Empowering Civil Society

TESEV prioritizes the empowering of civil society for democratization of the society. TESEV’s work in this area includes increasing the administrative capacity of civil society. providing policies informed by scientific findings on the infrastructure, legislation, and other mechanisms necessary for strengthening the cooperation between public authorities and civil society, so as to improve the latter’s participation in decision making mechanisms. On this subject, TESEV carries out the following activities:
⎯ Building capacity for cooperation between local governments and civil society organizations.
⎯ Developing digital solutions for collaboration between local governments and civil society organizations.
⎯ Advocating for civil society participation in decision making mechanisms.
⎯ Monitoring national and international civil society processes.
