TESEV aims to contribute to the making of evidence-based, development-sensitive and long-term immigration policies in Turkey. In this context, it develops policy proposals to improve migration management with all its components, and to support the participation of migrants in social and economic life via projects carried out through public and civil society partnerships. TESEV’s work on this subject includes the following:
⎯ Identifying problem and opportunity areas in migration management processes through conversations with public institutions, civil society organizations and migrants.
⎯ Supporting local governments to participate in migration management processes.
⎯ Working to improve, compile and share the migration data to produce informed immigration policies.
