TESEV aims to strengthen the principles, processes, and the policies of urban democratic governance and sustainability in cooperation with local governments, academia, private sector, and civil society. TESEV’s work offers scientific, data-based policy recommendations to this end. TESEV carries out the following work on this subject:
⎯ Developing innovative local government policy and advocacy tools.
⎯ Advocating for democratic local governance.
⎯ Re-mapping of cities through socio-economic data and social services.
⎯ Publication and dissemination of new debates in the field of urban policy.
⎯ Monitoring national and international urban policy and the processes of Sustainable Development Goals while producing policy recommendations for these processes.
