Our partners in this project

2018 - 2020

The project of Assesment and Mapping of Education and Health Services for Children in Istanbul District Municipalities was designed to deepen the data-based local policy making dimension of the Istanbul 95 program implemented by Bernard van Leer Foundation. Following the first stage, the Project aims to faclitate decion makers to make data-based policies.

With the support of Bernard van Leer Foundation and Kadir Has University Istanbul Studies Center’s cooperation, after the Assessment and Mapping of Istanbul District Municipalities’ Services Targeting Young Children and Families Project is succesfully accomplished, this project, which is a continuation, aims to make the inventory and map all public and private units providing education and health services for children in Istanbul. In this project, which we continue with previous collaborations, the data provided by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, public and private pre-school education and health institutions are added to the services provided by the district municipalities which are on the digital platform and a more holistic map is created. The platform, which is established with updated and newly added information will facilitate monitoring education and health services for children and therefore decision makers developing data-based policies.
