How to Strengthen Gender Sensitive Migration Policies?

The report prepared within the scope of “Improving Gender Responsive Migration Policy in Türkiye” project, conducted by TESEV with the support of the Swedish Consulate General in Istanbul, presents policy analysis and recommendations from a do no harm perspective for the inclusion of migrant women in all areas of life. The report compiles the findings of the project activities; desk research, interviews, and events. The report examines the migration context and its changes in Türkiye; migration policies at the international, national, and local levels; and areas awaiting solutions while adopting do no harm principle and offers recommendations for a gender-sensitive migration policy.
