The “Children in Turkey” website project, prepared with Aydın Dogan Foundation’s support, aims to facilitate data-based policy preparation by putting forth the demographic, social and economic data about children in Turkey, through easy to read map, graphics and visuals.
The project Children in Turkey aims to make use of the interactive website for decision makers, academics and civil society organizations working on girls in particular. Therefore, it will serve as a historical and spatial visual database and guideline that interested actors can use to produce different projects. Following the launch of the website, experts met in a panel Working Girls and Education: Policy Recommendations in the Framework of Children’s Rights and presented their solutions and policy recommendations.
